Senior Holiday Designer
Those of you who know Angela know her catchphrase, ‘I love my job’. With a great enthusiasm at making sure everyone has the best holiday possible, Angela takes great pride in listening to everyone’s requirements and needs and finding the perfect holiday for you.
Angela joined us last summer, just after she came back from her wedding in Mauritius (which we booked for her!).
Since joining us, she is most proud of arranging a holiday for a disabled gentleman with Cerebral Palsy, to realise his life long dream of diving. He thought that he would have to travel to the other side of the world, but was overjoyed that he could do it much closer to home.
Angela’s husband is Italian, so she is the ideal person to talk to about your next holiday to the country! The only condition is that she goes with you!!
After watching the Rio Ferdinand documentary on TV and seeing him marry on the beach I came up with the wonderful idea of getting married abroad as opposed to somewhere in the UK that was going to be costly and stressful to organise and against the odds of the English weather.
After convincing my now-husband Stani, we decided to visit Traveltime for advice hence where my career in travel started …. Thanks Jackie and Ash for believing in me.
I fully trusted Jackie in advising us we should marry in Mauritius on the Beach so we did exactly that and oh my god it was out of this world and totally recommend it to any future bride and grooms of course if they can escape the family dynamics or can afford to take them with you.
We stayed at the hotel Shandrani with Beachcomber with just a few close friends and family to what turned out to be a stress-free calm wedding and an amazing holiday and we got to share our honeymoon with the most important people, and swim with the dolphins too !! Weddings on the beach barefooted are the way forward .!
As a family we have always from when my children could first walk hit the mountain air and skied the many slopes of Europe, mostly the Italian Dolomites, we then started to venture across to the states and Canada for our annual skiing holidays.
We always felt like we were going home when we arrived in the mountains, the fresh air , log fires, and mulled wine always helped. My eldest son eventually after many years of ski-ing joined Snow Sport England and raced for Great Britain GBS team where he went on to becoming a Racing coach in Canada, I thank Mark Warner for this as they actually put him forward to have trials with them he traveled all over Europe and went skiing academies for a few months at a time in his teens years. The French quoted he skied like a French boy instead of an English with no mountains so he was good.
There is something magical about the winter ski season that has always captured my and my family’s hearts and memories to last a lifetime. Come and see me and we can talk ski runs for hours!
My daughter Mia is currently studying Learning disability nursing at Hertfordshire University.
This began when she started volunteering at a camp for disabled people during the summer holidays where we became close friends with Clive who has cerebral palsy and we learnt all about his love for travel and his once in a lifetime dream to be able to deep-sea dive in the Atlantic ocean in his wheelchair.
I found an amazing operator who specializes in disability holidays called Enable holidays, in which I organised for him to travel to Tenerife and explore the island, to swim in the sea. The resort has the facilities to take clients in wheelchairs like Clive deep-sea diving, so we learnt that your dreams are closer to you than you think. He is looking forward to me organising him some post-covid trips, which included South Africa /safari and Croatia.
