India has decided to bring back the option for British travellers to apply for an eVisa to visit the country, something which had been stopped earlier in the year.
Until now, British Citizens had to make an appointment to apply for a visa in person, which was both difficult to obtain because of a long waiting list and a considerably lengthier application process.
Today the High Commission of India confirmed that the eVisa service would be reinstated, through a system upgrade.
This makes a considerable difference in travelling to India, taking away the barriers put in place after they reopened for tourists last year.
