Romantic Escapes
A surprise romantic weekend away can be priceless. But it needn’t be expensive. A simple cappuccino in a Viennese coffee house is an altogether different experience from a coffee in a UK High Street chain. And it needn’t cost a lot. Low airfares and hotel offers mean that there are plenty of City Break bargains to be had.
Christmas Markets
For something a little special at Christmas time, why not go to one of the exciting markets all over Europe. Ashley has extensive knowledge having visited over 15 of them over the last few years, and is happy to advise the city right for you!
Each city in Germany has its own specialism or atmosphere, especially at Christmas. Many people head to the most well-known cities of Berlin, Dusseldorf or Cologne, all of which have excellent multiple markets. However, consider some of the smaller cities such as Nuremberg, Leipzig or Dresden for something less touristy.
OPERA & CONCERTS
There are a number of Opera Houses all over Europe – Berlin, Dresden, Barcelona, Verona, Florence just to name a few. A trip to the opera is a cultural experience like no other, all pre-bookable in advance. We can also prebook concert tickets.
History
Many destinations around Europe have historical significance. Learn more with a guide with excursions to Auschwitz from Krakow, the Parthenon in Athens, the Colosseum in Rome or Mostar from Dubrovnik or Split and the Pyramids in Egypt.

When travelling, for many food and drink are integral to a great holiday. There are many cities that are synonymous with gastronomy, Port in Porto, Truffles in Italy, Tapas in Spain, and some fantastic restaurants in some of the most stunning locations.
