The Belgrade to Bar by Train 8-day tour offers an extraordinary journey through the Balkans, including one of Europe’s most scenic train routes, which stretches from Belgrade to the Adriatic port city of Bar. Starting in Belgrade, the tour includes time to explore the city’s vibrant culture, with visits to landmarks such as the St. Sava Orthodox Cathedral, Kalemegdan Fortress, and the bustling Knez Mihailova Street. You can also take an optional day trip to Novi Sad and the Fruška Gora region, where you can explore historic monasteries and the iconic Petrovaradin Fortress.

On Day 4, embark on the thrilling 12-hour train journey from Belgrade to Bar, passing through spectacular landscapes, 435 bridges, and 254 tunnels. The journey is available as both a day and overnight train ride, with the latter offering sleeper compartments. Upon arrival in Bar, enjoy a four-night stay to relax and explore. The surrounding area includes the ancient ruins of Stari Bar and one of the world’s oldest olive trees. There’s also time to relax on the beach or explore the coastal towns of Budva and Ulcinj.
