New British Airways service to Finnish Lapland

British Airways is continuing to expand the number of destinations from its Gatwick base – with a new service to Ivalo in Finnish Lapland this winter. The new service will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3 December to 14 February.

Surrounded by vast wilderness, pristine lakes, and majestic falls, Ivalo offers a gateway to the Arctic adventure. Visitors can experience the mesmerizing Northern Lights, go dog sledging or snowmobiling through the snowy landscapes, and explore the stunning Urho Kekkonen National Park. The local region is rich in traditions, where you can immerse yourself in the unique Sami way of life, including reindeer herding and traditional handicrafts.
