easyJet is starting two new limited-season services to Lapland this winter, perfect for going on a Santa trip with the family just before Christmas. There will be a new service from London Luton to Rovaniemi, twice weekly between 9 December and 6 January. An alternative from London Gatwick to Kitilla will operate slightly longer, but still twice a week between 25 November and 2 January.
Known as the official hometown of Santa Claus, Rovaniemi offers a unique blend of nature, culture, and holiday spirit. The city is situated on the Arctic Circle, making it a gateway to the Arctic wilderness and the mesmerizing Northern Lights. Rovaniemi is also home to Santa Claus Village, where visitors can meet Santa himself, explore his post office, and cross the magical Arctic Circle. Beyond its festive charm, Rovaniemi boasts stunning natural beauty, with opportunities for reindeer and husky safaris, snowmobile adventures, and ice fishing.
