2020 has been difficult for those who love live sports and the ability to travel to see it in the flesh. Many have been held behind closed doors, or with a limited number of spectators – sometimes with changes at the very last minute. It is expected that 2021 will be different, as vaccines and testing reopen travel around the world.
With Formula 1, it is expected that crowds will return, although at what sort of level is yet to be confirmed as we are still three months away from the start of the new season. Of course, those in Europe will remain the easiest to get to – Spain, Hungary, Belgium and Italy firm favourites to travel to, along with the latest addition to the calendar in the Netherlands (although that will likely be packed with Max Verstappen fans!).
We have experience in combining going to see a Grand Prix within a holiday, or a separate weekend if you’re thinking of somewhere in Europe, with tickets and/or Paddock Club access at a number of races. Ashley has also been to the winter test in Barcelona for a number of years, and knows Barcelona well – along with Silverstone.
