Explora Journeys has announced its new Winter 2027/28 Journeys Collection, running from September 2027 to May 2028. The programme introduces brand-new destinations, extended itineraries, and the debut of the brand-new EXPLORA V, which joins a growing fleet designed to redefine luxury travel at sea.
The season marks a milestone with EXPLORA III sailing into Asia for the first time, offering journeys across Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and beyond. Meanwhile, EXPLORA II and EXPLORA IV return to the Caribbean, and EXPLORA II ventures deep into the Amazon. Closer to home, EXPLORA V begins in the Mediterranean before heading east, joining EXPLORA I in the Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula. Across the collection, itineraries feature longer stays, overnight calls and off-the-beaten-track ports, ensuring you can immerse yourself in the local culture of the destination.

Asia with EXPLORA III
For the first time, Explora Journeys sails deep into Asia.

Tokyo Round-Trip (March 2028): A 9-night journey during cherry blossom season, calling at Nagoya, Busan, Jeju Island, Nagasaki and Shimonoseki before returning to Tokyo. Guests can explore Japan’s sacred sites, coastal traditions and the fleeting beauty of spring blooms.

Singapore to Bangkok (February 2028): A 7-night sailing blending ancient temples and lively markets with modern skylines. Highlights include Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc, Sihanoukville, and an extended stay in Bangkok.
Caribbean Adventures with EXPLORA II & IV

San Juan to Miami (January 2028): A 7-night cruise visiting Tortola, Guadeloupe, Saint Barthélemy, and ending with a full day at Explora’s private marine reserve, Ocean Cay in the Bahamas.

Miami to Miami (January 2028): A 16-night extended journey combining Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and Key West with time in Antigua, Guadeloupe and Saint Kitts. Guests can snorkel vibrant reefs, explore Mayan ruins and soak up island culture.
South America & The Amazon with EXPLORA II

San Juan to Manaus (February 2028): An 11-night expedition into the Amazon. After calls in Montserrat, Barbados and Devil’s Island, the ship journeys upriver to Santarém, Boca da Valeria and Manaus. A second leg returns via Parintins, Alter do Chão, Tobago and the Caribbean islands back to San Juan.
This experience blends wild rainforest exploration with cultural encounters in remote riverside communities.
Mediterranean Festivities with EXPLORA V

Rome to Barcelona (December 2027): A 7-night Christmas sailing visiting Salerno, Sicily, Valletta, Tunis and Sardinia before celebrating Christmas Day at sea.
