Day 1
Rio de Janeiro
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival in Rio, you will be met and driven to your hotel in a private vehicle.
Day 2
Rio de Janeiro
Enjoy a private guided tour of Rio’s highlights, including a trip by cable car up Sugarloaf Mountain, the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer and a tasty barbecue lunch in a traditional Churrascaria.
Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
Guided by a local foodie, you will explore the street markets, bars, and restaurants frequented by locals for generations.
Day 4
Iguacu Falls
Today, you will fly to Iguaçu, where you will be met and taken to your hotel. Your afternoon is at leisure, enjoying the superb views on the Brazilian side of the falls right outside your hotel.
Day 5
Iguacu Falls
Today, enjoy a half-day private tour of the Argentine side of the falls, which offers spectacular contrasts and the opportunity to get up close to the falls.
Day 6
Salvador
Today you will fly north to the city of Salvador in the state of Bahia. Transfer to your hotel in the charming historic centre of the city.
Day 7
Salvador
Enjoy a private guided tour of Salvador’s key sights, including a visit to the All Saints Bay, the cobbled streets of the Pelourinho lined with colourful buildings and the Baroque church of São Francisco.
Day 8
Salvador
Free day to further explore Salvador at your own leisure — you may wish to visit the handicrafts market or experience a folkloric dance show.
Day 9
Praia do Forte
Today, head for the beaches of Bahia. An hour and a half drive from Salvador takes you to Praia do Forte, a beach town known for its clear waters, white sand, and natural pools. Your resort is a lovely retreat set just back from the beach enveloped by swaying palm trees. You’ll have some time to relax and enjoy the laid-back culture of the coast.
Days 10 & 11
Praia do Forte
Take it easy on the beach or get out and explore the other nearby beaches.
Day 12
Return flight
Take a private transfer back to Salvador in time for your indirect flight home.
