Discover Morocco’s rich heritage on a privately guided journey through its most captivating cities — Casablanca, Rabat, and Fez. Begin in Casablanca, where you visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque, the world’s second-largest, before travelling to the coastal capital of Rabat to explore its serene medina, the 12th-century Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas. Continue inland to Fez, stopping to wander through the Roman ruins and mosaics of Volubilis and the Imperial city of Meknes en route. In Fez, delve into the maze-like medina on a private tasting trail, sampling local delicacies and meeting artisans at work in the city’s famous tanneries. There’s time to explore independently too — perhaps bartering in the souqs, admiring traditional tilework, or relaxing in your riad’s courtyard pool. Your private driver then returns you to Casablanca for your final night before your onward flight. Suggested Itinerary
Day 1
Casablanca
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Casablanca. Upon arrival in Casablanca, you’ll be met at the airport by a local representative and your private driver, who will drive you to your hotel in the city. You’ll then have time to settle in and explore the city independently if you would like to.
Day 2-3
Rabat
This morning, your driver takes you on the short journey to Rabat, with a stop en route at Casablanca’s magnificent Hassan II Mosque — the world’s second-largest after Mecca. On arrival in Morocco’s capital, the rest of the day is free to relax and explore at your own pace. The following day, enjoy a privately guided half-day tour of Rabat, a calmer contrast to Fez and Marrakesh. Highlights include the 12th-century Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the historic Kasbah of the Oudayas. You’ll spend both nights at Riad Zyo.
Day 4-6
Fez
Depart Rabat with your private driver and travel to the historic city of Fez. Along the way, stop to explore the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis with a local guide, once the westernmost reach of the Roman Empire, before continuing to the Imperial city of Meknes for a short tour. Both sites offer fascinating insight into Morocco’s layered history, blending Roman, Berber, and Islamic influences.
In Fez, stay at Riad Maison Bleue and spend the following day on a private tasting trail through the medina’s maze of narrow lanes, sampling local delicacies and meeting stallholders in the bustling markets. The next day is free to explore at your own pace — wander the souqs, admire the city’s tanneries and artisans, or unwind at the riad’s tranquil courtyard pool.
Day 7
Casablanca
Your private driver will pick you up this morning for the four- to five-hour journey to Casablanca. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure.
Day 8
Return flight
Today your driver will pick you up from your accommodation for the short transfer to Casablanca Airport, where you then board your onward flight. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
