This 14-day journey through Vietnam begins in Hanoi, where you’ll explore the Old Quarter by traditional cyclo, before flying over the limestone karsts of Halong Bay and cruising among them on a classic junk. Continue to Hoi An to wander its lantern-lit streets, artisan shops and riverside cafés, then on to Hue for a guided tour of its imperial tombs and citadel. In Ho Chi Minh City, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels and explore the city’s grand boulevards before drifting through the Mekong Delta to see the floating markets of Cai Rang. Finish with a relaxing stay on the tropical island of Phu Quoc.

Days 1-2
Hanoi
After settling into your hotel, explore the city on a private tour by cyclo, a traditional three-wheel rickshaw.

Days 3-4
Halong Bay
See the karsts of Halong Bay by seaplane, before cruising between them on a traditional junk, eating dinner on deck.

Days 5-7
Hoi An
Walk through the canal-lined Old Quarter on a private tour in this UNESCO World Heritage town. You’ve plenty of time of explore its cafes, artisanal boutiques and museums.

Days 8-9
Hue
A private guide will lead you on a tour of Hue’s imperial mausoleums, temples and gunfire-marked citadel.

Day 10
Ho Chi Minh City
You’ll fly south to this commercial capital, visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels en route, with time to wander the city’s boulevards.

Day 11
Mekong Delta
Cruising through the backwaters, you’ll visit the floating markets at Cai Rang and dine on fresh prawns in Can Tho.

Days 12-14
Phu Quoc
Fly to Phu Quoc to end your trip on the island’s quiet beaches.
