Suggested Itinerary
Day 1
International Outbound Flight
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Colombo.
Day 2-4
Galle
On arrival in Sri Lanka, you’ll be welcomed by your private chauffeur-guide and transferred down to the south coast to Galle. After settling into your hotel, Fort Printers, you’ll have some leisure time depending on your flight schedule. If time allows, a gentle stroll around Galle is highly recommended, as the city’s charming streets and coastal views make it perfect for exploring on foot.
Over the next couple of days, you’ll enjoy a private city tour of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its impressive Dutch fort and picturesque walkways. You can continue exploring the area with a local bicycle tour, gaining insight into the culture and people of the region, before finishing the day watching the sunset from one of the city’s rooftop restaurants.
Day 5-6
Yala National Park
This morning, you’ll drive along the coast with your chauffeur-guide to Yala National Park, taking in scenic stops along the way. Over the next couple of days at Jetwing Yala, you can enjoy private safaris in the morning and late afternoon, increasing your chances of spotting wildlife such as spotted deer, wild boar, elephants, and a variety of birds. With Yala boasting the highest density of leopards in Asia, there’s also the possibility of seeing elusive leopards and sloth bears.
Day 7-8
Tangalle
Spend a leisurely morning at your accommodation before transferring to Tangalle, a scenic two-hour drive along Sri Lanka’s south coast. Once at Buckingham Place, the day is yours to relax and unwind on the beach, soaking in the coastal atmosphere.
Day 9
Makandura
Your chauffeur-guide will drive you to your hotel, near the international airport. Relax and enjoy your last evening in Sri Lanka.
