The pandemic, although tough for many, was a great lesson into how we can all work differently, yet provide value for our customers. No longer do we have to be chained to a desk in a specific location 24/7, work to a traditional 9 to 5, or even be in the same location geographically. We now have the technology and courage to do things better.

We realised even before the pandemic there would be a shift in consumer behaviour, and have introduced initiatives such as our ‘Anytime Service’ where we guarantee to answer the phone or email, outside of standard office hours, our online ‘Virtually Anywhere’ series streamed live on YouTube and our extremely successful weekly Journal email – distributed to two-thousand people every Friday detailing the lastest travel news, company events and features.

Now we’re ready to open the platform we have created over the last thirty years to other like-minded ‘Travel Maestros’, with a competitive remote-working offering. We are a member of ABTA (F2256) and Advantage, as you would expect, and we have a name that is renowned and respected throughout the industry.

Travel Maestros is a brand new remote/homeworking solution from TravelTime World, one of the UK’s leading small independent travel agencies.

You’re not going to be one of thousands or another statistic – you’ll be a valued member of the small team.

Unlike some other home-working companies, we don’t require you to have this as your full-time job, there are no formal targets and no upfront cost.

NO UPFRONT FEE

We don’t believe money should be a barrier for anyone, which is why we don’t charge an upfront fee. Only on our highest level do we charge ongoing monthly charges.

Through our membership of Advantage, and our own additional commercial arrangements we have excellent deals right across the industry.

OUR STORY

TravelTime World was established by Jackie and David Steadman nearly thirty years ago. With a base in their hometown of Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire, an affluent market town on the outskirts of London, the travel agency quickly gained a reputation for affordable luxury travel and has gone on to be a leader on the high street.

All the way through, core values have guided their direction, including the belief that you should be honest, informed, and impartial. The travel industry has changed a lot in the last thirty years, but those values still hold true today, possibly even more so in the age of the internet and social media.

In 2019, a move from the shop which had served them well for twenty-five years was an opportunity to change how you could operate. With fashionable Berkhamsted attracting lots of ‘big name’ retailers and restaurants, rents on the high street became unaffordable. Moving just across the road, to a much better location still on the high street, it prompted a rethink of how you can work efficiently, putting the client first.

FINANCIAL PROTECTION

TravelTime World takes financial protection extremely seriously. We have held our ABTA membership for nearly thirty years, and with agency status, we only book packaged holidays through our ATOL-protected tour operator partners.

COMMERCIAL AGREEMENTS

We are proud to be a member of the Advantage Travel Partnership, which strengthens our commercial buying power with a considerable number of the largest tour operators and cruise lines. Additional we have negotiated our own agreements with many smaller companies, offering one of the widest portfolios on the market.

MARKETING

Every Travel Maestro will have their own dedicated landing page on our existing website. It will include your contact details, biography, and an overview of the places you have travelled. You’ll also have access to our Travel Journal (published weekly), social media activity and PR/media work.

TECHNOLOGY

We use Vertical Systems’ new V-Suite, so you’ll be able to access your own bookings from anywhere (as long as you have an internet connection). You’ll also have your own exchange email account and web page.

TRAINING

You’ll have full training on the V-suite system, as well as training with our preferred suppliers. There will be plenty of opportunities for training evenings and fam trips throughout the year.

SUPPORT

Although we’re a small team, we’ll give you all the support you need. This could be in marketing, product knowledge, or even helping you resolve a problem. We’re available 24/7 for our clients, and it would be no different for you.

Full training on V-Tarsc, as well as other products and educational opportunities.

MAESTRO GOLD

Ideal for experienced travel professionals, who wish to work either part-time or full-time and have or are building their own client base.

Further enhanced commission share.

Monthly charge of £80.
