Hot on the heels of it’s unexpected arrival at Gatwick airport next summer, Jet2 has announced its return to Egypt from next winter with a handful of routes from some of its larger bases.
Egypt is a fantastic winter sun destination, with blue skies all year round and is one of the prime destinations anywhere in the world for diving, the Red Sea being the home to the majority of the winter sun holiday destinations. Jet2’s arrival will at the start be relatively small, with a handful of routes per week from Manchester, Stansted, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Departures start from February 2027 and will include:
Manchester to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh (both twice weekly)
Birmingham to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh (both twice weekly)
Stansted to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh (both twice weekly)
Edinburgh to Sharm El Sheikh (weekly)
Glasgow to Hurghada (weekly)
