JetBlue has unveiled its new ‘BlueHouse’, first ever airport lounge at New York JFK’s Terminal, it’s home in it’s hometown city.
The new lounge which is due to open next week, on the 18th December, marks a new era of the boutique leisure airline, aimed at elevating the customer journey with more premium, customer-focused experiences.

The BlueHouse is around 9,000 sq ft, over two floors with an interior inspired by New York loft-style apartments and additional Art Deco elements. This in addition to keeping to the JetBlue brand and reflecting the roots of New York.
Like many airport lounges, inside guests will find zones for working, socialising and unwinding, including:
- High-speed Wi-Fi, plenty of outlets and varied seating arrangements.
- A games room and quiet areas.
- Locally sourced food and beverages – from Union Square Events snacks and Joe Coffee espresso to craft beers, signature cocktails and artisan wines from New York partners.
- A photo booth and nods to JetBlue’s history woven into the interior.
Being based in the UK, we naturally wouldn’t have frequent flyer status, especially when we’re occasional travellers to America. Access at launch is complimentary for top-tier TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members, JetBlue Premier Cardmembers (credit cards), and passengers flying in Mint on transatlantic routes, with guest access permitted at an additional charge. Limited access passes for other loyalty tiers and cardholders will roll out in early 2026.
| Customers | Access policy | Guest policy |
|---|---|---|
| Mosaic 4 Members1 | Complimentary | One complimentary guest. $39 per additional guest. |
| JetBlue Premier Cardmembers1 | Complimentary | One complimentary guest. $39 per additional guest. |
| Transatlantic Mint customers | Complimentary | $39 per guest. |
| Note: Each customer and guest must present a confirmed same-day boarding pass for a Blue Fare or above. Customers and guests travelling on a Blue Basic Fare are ineligible for complimentary access or to purchase a one-time pass. | ||
BlueHouse is showcased as just the beginning of JetBlue’s lounge network. The airline plans further expansion, including a second location at Boston Logan in 2026, while also continuing to refresh Terminal 5 at JFK.

We’re also eagerly awaiting JetBlue’s domestic first product, which is also due to launch in 2026, which will allow it to compete against the major carriers of American, Delta and United to popular holiday destinations from New York and Boston, and allow comfortable connections for us in the UK to Florida and the Caribbean.
