Oceania Cruises
Oceania Cruises has built a reputation as the line for travellers who see the journey as every bit as important as the destination. With a strong emphasis on longer port stays, overnight calls, and carefully designed itineraries, their cruises are less about flashy entertainment and more about exploring the world in depth. You’ll find them sailing across all seven continents, with particular strength in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, as well as longer Grand Voyages and round-the-world itineraries that attract a loyal following.
Life on board is elegant but relaxed, with no formal nights and a smart-casual dress code that suits the atmosphere. The fleet ranges from the intimate Regatta-class ships carrying just 670 guests to the newer Oceania and Allura-class vessels, Marina, Riviera, Vista and Allura, each accommodating around 1,200. This mid-sized approach means the ships are large enough to offer choice in dining and facilities, but small enough to feel personal and to dock in ports beyond the reach of bigger vessels.
A defining feature of Oceania is its focus on gastronomy. The line proudly claims “the finest cuisine at sea”, with menus created under the guidance of renowned French chef Jacques Pépin. All speciality restaurants are included in the fare, from classic Italian and steakhouse favourites to wellness-inspired dining at the new Aquamar Kitchen. Add to that creative touches like the Artist Loft for painting and workshops, cooking schools on the larger ships, and some of the most comfortable beds at sea, and you get a cruise experience that blends quality, value, and a genuine sense of refinement.
