Virgin Atlantic has announced it’s to fly to Phuket in Thailand from next winter. It follows recent other leisure-oriented additions of Cape Town and the Maldives, and will be its second destination in Asia, with Seoul being a new destination next year.
The new three-weekly service from London Heathrow will start on the 18th October, ideal timing for the October half term, with the direct flight making the destination for just a week (although there is a big hit on jet lag). Phuket, and nearby Khao Lak of course ideal beach destinations in October, coming out of the Indian monsoon season and a great climate during the winter.
We’ll also be able to make bespoke itineraries using Phuket as your home base to other parts of Thailand, or slightly further afield in the region.
