The FCDO (UK Foreign Office) has relaxed the travel advice for the destinations on the Arabian Gulf, including the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia – which allows us to once again travel through the region as normal.
Bahrain
* The FCDO no longer advises against all but essential travel.
* There are now no travel restrictions in place.
* Travel advice has been updated to reflect ongoing regional tensions.
Kuwait
* The FCDO no longer advises against all but essential travel.
* There are now no travel restrictions in place.
* Advice has been updated regarding regional tensions, additional airport processing measures, and driving offences.
Qatar
* The FCDO no longer advises against all but essential travel.
* There are now no travel restrictions in place.
* Travel advice has been updated to reflect regional tensions.
Saudi Arabia
* The FCDO no longer advises against all but essential travel to Eastern Province and Riyadh Province.
* Most of the country can now be visited without restriction.
* However, restrictions remain near the Yemen border:
* Against all travel within 10km of the Yemen border.
* Against all but essential travel in areas between 10km and 80km from the Yemen border.
* Advice has also been updated regarding regional tensions.
