Sicily
Sicily is particularly appealing in October, when the summer heat has eased and the island takes on a more relaxed feel. Discover fascinating ancient ruins, explore the Baroque towns of the southeast and wander Palermo’s lively streets, or head towards Mount Etna and Taormina to enjoy some of the island’s most dramatic scenery.
Uzbekistan
