Day 1: Arrive in Seoul Welcome to Seoul, the capital and largest city of South Korea. You will be greeted by a representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel or explore the nearby attractions. You can also enjoy a welcome dinner at one of the many restaurants in the city. Day 2: Seoul Sightseeing Today, you will enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Seoul, covering both the historical and modern aspects of the city. You will visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace, one of the five grand palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty in the 15th century, where you can see the colourful changing of the guard ceremony. You will also visit the National Museum of Korea, where you can learn about the history and culture of Korea and see exhibits of art, archaeology, and relics. After lunch, you will visit the N Seoul Tower, a landmark with panoramic views of the city and the surrounding mountains. You will also visit the Myeongdong Shopping Street, one of the most popular and lively shopping areas in Seoul, where you can find everything from fashion to cosmetics to street food.
Day 3: Seoul to Busan – KTX Train Today, you will leave Seoul and take a scenic ride on the KTX Train, one of the most spectacular and fast train journeys in the world. You will travel in First Class, which includes comfortable seats, power outlets, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary beverages and snacks. You will enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you travel along the coast and through the countryside. You will arrive in Busan, the second largest city in South Korea and a charming port city with beaches and culture. You will check in to your luxury hotel and have some free time to enjoy Busan at your own pace. Day 4: Busan Sightseeing Today, you will explore more of Busan and its surroundings. You will start with a visit to the Gamcheon Culture Village, a colourful hillside village that features murals, sculptures, cafes, and galleries. You will also visit the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a unique seaside temple that dates back to the 14th century and offers stunning views of the ocean. After lunch, you will visit the Haeundae Beach, one of the most famous and beautiful beaches in South Korea, where you can relax on the sand or enjoy some water activities. You will also visit the Gwangalli Beach, another popular beach that is known for its night view of the Gwangan Bridge.
Day 5: Busan to Jeonju – KTX Train Today, you will leave Busan and take another ride on the KTX Train to Jeonju, a historic city that was once the spiritual capital of the Joseon Dynasty. You will start with a visit to the Gyeonggijeon Shrine, where you can see the portrait of King Taejo, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty, and learn about his life and achievements. You will also visit the Jeondong Catholic Church, a beautiful church that was built in 1914 and is considered one of the most important cultural properties in Korea. After lunch, you will visit the Jeonju National Museum, where you can see exhibits of art, history, and folklore related to Jeonju and its region. You will also visit the Omokdae Pavilion, a historic site that offers panoramic views of Jeonju.
Day 7: Jeonju to Gyeongju – KTX Train Today, you will leave Jeonju and take another ride on the KTX Train to Gyeongju, an ancient city that was the capital of the Silla Kingdom for almost a thousand years. You will check in to your luxury hotel and have some free time to enjoy Gyeongju at your own pace. You will start with a visit to the Bulguksa Temple, one of the most famous and beautiful Buddhist temples in Korea, where you can see the national treasures of the Seokguram Grotto and the Dabotap and Seokgatap pagodas. You will also visit the Cheomseongdae Observatory, the oldest surviving astronomical observatory in Asia, dating back to the 7th century. After lunch, you will visit the Gyeongju National Museum, where you can see exhibits of art, history, and relics from the Silla Kingdom. You will also visit the Daereungwon Tomb Complex, where you can see the royal tombs of the Silla kings and queens.
Day 9: Gyeongju to Jeju – Flight Today, you will leave Gyeongju and take a flight to Jeju, an island that is known as the Hawaii of Korea for its natural beauty and attractions. You will check in to your luxury hotel and have some free time to enjoy Jeju at your own pace. Day 10: Jeju Sightseeing Today, you will enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Jeju and its surroundings. You will start with a visit to the Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, a volcanic crater that rises from the sea and offers stunning views of the sunrise. You will also have an option to do a horseback riding tour around the peak (at an extra cost). After breakfast, you will visit the Manjanggul Cave, a natural lava tube that is one of the longest in the world and features various formations and fossils. After lunch, you will visit the Jeju Folk Village Museum, where you can see how people lived in Jeju in the past and experience their culture and traditions. You will also visit the Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, a beautiful waterfall that is surrounded by lush vegetation and legend.
Day 11: Jeju to Seoul – Flight Today, you will leave Jeju and take a flight back to Seoul, where you will spend the last night of your holiday. You can enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, relaxing at your hotel or exploring more of Seoul. You can also do some last-minute shopping or souvenirs at one of the malls or markets in the city.
Day 12: Seoul to DMZ – Day Trip Today, you will have a unique opportunity to visit one of the most interesting attractions in South Korea: the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), a no man’s land that separates South Korea from North Korea. You will join a guided tour that will take you to see some of the highlights of this area, such as the Imjingak Park, where you can see monuments and memorials related to the Korean War; the Freedom Bridge, where prisoners of war were exchanged; the Third Tunnel, one of the secret tunnels dug by North Korea to invade South Korea; the Dora Observatory, where you can see North Korea from a distance; and the Dorasan Station, where you can get a stamp on your passport as a souvenir. You will also have a chance to visit Panmunjom (Joint Security Area), where you can see the blue huts that straddle the border between South Korea and North Korea and where negotiations take place (subject to availability and security conditions). Day 13: Seoul – Free Day Today, you have a free day to enjoy Seoul at your own pace.
