Ritz Madrid
The Mandarin Oriental hotel group has a member in Madrid, and it’s hands down the best hotel in the city. It’s luxurious, traditional, and elegant, right in the heart of the city. You’ll find it next door to the Prado Museum and just a short walk from the gorgeous Retiro Park. The Ritz has rooms that are super luxurious and a dining room with a beautiful garden terrace. They have 167 unique bedrooms and a fitness centre with a sauna and massage.

Villa Real
Nestled in a fantastic location, overlooking the Plaza de las Cortes, the Villa Real is right next to the Parliament building and the famous Thyssen museum. You can also easily reach the Prado and the Reina Sofia museums on foot. The hotel has a cozy and inviting vibe, with friendly and helpful staff. And guess what? They have a collection of Roman mosaics and statues that would make any museum jealous! Each of the 115 rooms is elegantly furnished in a traditional style. Orfila
The Orfila is a lovely hotel in a quiet, exclusive area of the city. It’s just a five-minute walk to the Plaza de Colon or a short taxi ride or a 25-minute walk to the Prado. The hotel was once a 19th-century palace, and it’s been beautifully restored into a charming and cozy place with a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. They’ve kept many of the original features of the building, and all 32 bedrooms are individually decorated with fancy fabrics. Many have original antiques, and they’re all super comfortable. As part of the Relais & Châteaux group, the hotel has a great restaurant, and there’s also a lovely courtyard garden where you can enjoy meals and afternoon tea in the nice weather.
