We’re delighted that we’ve been shortlisted for the ‘Top Luxury Responsible Travel Agency’ award at this year’s TTG Media Top 20 Luxury Travel Agency Awards. We won the inaugural award last year, much to our surprise, and we’re really pleased that we’re ‘in the running’ for a second consecutive year.
Whilst we don’t see ourselves as a ‘luxury’ agent, and actively choose not to use that word, it’s the box that the industry wants to put us in. If there’s nothing else about the travel industry, it loves boxes. It instead reflects how we, and you, now view the way we travel.
This is also the only award we nominate for ourselves, as we believe this best respresents on who we are as a company, proving that you can still have quality, upmarket experiences whilst travelling responsibly. Whether that’s the inclusion of more train travel, or using a cruise line which is more sensitive to overtourism concerns at the ports they call at, or using family-owned or run hotels. There’s something we can all do when travelling, which may in the end, give a better experience.
