In JetBlue, USA

JetBlue has opened its second BlueHouse lounge, bringing its distinctive flair on premium airport hospitality to Boston. Located in Terminal C, the new lounge opened today (27 August 2026) and follows the success of the first BlueHouse at New York JFK, recently named the Best Airport Lounge in Newsweek’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards.

Designed to feel more like a stylish New England home than a traditional airport lounge, BlueHouse Boston takes inspiration from the city and surrounding region. There are warm residential details, copper accents, local artwork and references to Boston’s neighbourhoods, which gives the lounge a distinctly local character, while separate areas provide somewhere to work, dine, socialise or simply relax before a flight.

The lounge also puts a strong emphasis on locally inspired food and drink. Guests can enjoy freshly prepared dishes including North Shore roast beef sliders and crab and shrimp rolls, alongside cocktails created with Boston beverage director Jackson Cannon. George Howell Coffee provides the speciality coffee and espresso, while New England craft beers and locally produced sweets add to the regional feel.

There are plenty of thoughtful touches. There’s a games room inspired by Boston’s sporting culture, a quieter library-style workspace influenced by the Boston Public Library and a hidden Candy Closet stocked by Madeleine’s Candy Shop. An exclusive Richard Scarry mural also features familiar characters and scenes from the Boston-born illustrator’s work, reimagined with a JetBlue twist.

The launch also brings a change to who can use BlueHouse. From today, complimentary access has been extended to customers travelling on eligible departing Mint or Mint fares, including both domestic and international.
