JetBlue, the American low-cost airline is to debut a new daytime service from New York to London at the start of the summer schedule in March.
The new daytime service will supplement their existing overnight service into Heathrow’s Terminal 2, increasing their operation at the UK leading airport. It will however, only retain a three daily service to London, with Gatwick dropping from two to one a day.
Although it was long in the planning, JetBlue made a splash during the pandemic by flying to the UK for the first time. It’s innovative onboard product and cost effective Mint class have been very popular, taking inspiration from its existing trans-continental services in America which lowed airfares from coast-to-coast.
The new schedule is:
London Heathrow 0825 – New York JFK 1140
London Heathrow 1155 – New York JFK 1515
New York JFK 0830 – London Heathrow 2045
New York JFK 2100 – London Heathrow 0930+
London Gatwick 1200 – New York JFK 1515
New York JFK 1930 – London Gatwick 0755+
