Flying to the Caribbean this winter with Virgin Atlantic

The advantage the Caribbean has over Mauritius and the Maldives, is the number of flights it has to a number of different islands, that apart from the slightly shorter flying time (depending on the island you’re flying to).

Virgin Atlantic makes this easy from Heathrow. Barbados is served daily, and from there the Caribbean begins to open up. On selected days, flights continue to Grenada and St Vincent, while onward connections make islands such as Bequia, Mustique and Canouan accessible too. Antigua flies three times a week and can also be used as a gateway to islands including Anguilla and the British Virgin Islands, while Montego Bay is served four times a week, putting you on Jamaica’s north coast, close to some of the island’s best-known beaches and resorts.

In addition, there’s a three-weekly flight to Antigua (which also opens up other locations in the Caribbean such as Anguilla and the British Virgin Islands), and four weekly to the Jamaican coast town of Montego Bay. The newest addition being a three weekly flight to Cancun, on Mexico’s Caribbean coast.
