In Responsible Travel

Last year, after just a few months of us becoming a more responsible business, I was asked by ABTA to speak on a panel at their Carbon Literacy Day, about what we were doing and what we wanted to do in the future.

Last week, I was asked back to sit on another panel – this time along with highly esteemed colleagues – Justin Francis who founded Responsible Travel and Mark Smith from Purdy Smith (a London-based law firm), where we talked about the ‘Green Claims Code’ and how you can communicate what you’re doing in this space, without falling to ‘greenwashing’.

With Justin having had over 20 years of experience in the responsible tourism field, who currently advises the government on the environment and tourism, it was an honour to sit aside him, where we had surprisingly similar outlooks!
