It’s fair to say that it wouldn’t be possible to do what we do, if we didn’t have the relationships we have formed over the last thirty years. To be a great travel agent, it’s not enough to be just a booking agent, but provide a great service, which may include complicated requests or needs, and be there for you if the worst happens.
This could absolutely be said of our colleagues at Caribtours. We have known it’s now CEO/Owner Paul Cleary for over twenty years, similarly Rebecca Bryson, their Head of Sales – both we consider as friends, and to us that really makes a difference.
We were delighted to be at our twentieth annual Caribtours brochure launch at the legendary Claridge’s in London, what we see as one of the events of the year. A celebration to launch their new collections for 2026, as well as some awards (although we didn’t win this year, we did get a special mention!).

We worked with Caribtours when they were just a Caribbean specialist, and even then it was only to some of the most well known islands – Barbados, Antigua, St Lucia, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Grenada and British Virgin Islands. However, their programme has grown to so much more than that over the last twenty years, with a whole dedicated European brochure, now in its second year.
New additions to Greece include the new Ikos Kissamos in Crete (one of the most hotly tipped hotels for 2026), the new Conrad Corfu, Numo Ierapetra on Crete’s south coast, and the Ixian Grand on Rhodes – one of the few 5* adult-only all-inclusive hotels in Europe.
In Spain, there’s the Zafiro Palace in Andratx, Paradisus Salinas In Lanzarote, Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia and the Paradisus in Gran Canaria, and our favourite hotel in Tenerife – the Royal Hideaway Corales Suites and it’s sister villa accommodation.
Elsewhere in Europe new additions to the collection include the Porto Mare and Cliff Bay in Madeira (a destination we both love), the Regnum Carya and Crown in Turkey, and expansion of their Lapland programme including the Wilderness Hotel Inari – which featured on the ‘Behind The Lobby’.

Beyond Europe, we’re delighted they have reintroduced Sri Lanka with a number of the best properties on the island – for example, Uga Ulagalla, Ceylon Tea Trails, The Fortress, Amanwella and the Anantara Peace Haven.
Still as their No1 destination, Barbados continues to thrive and the new Apes Hill which opened this year is included in the collection – a great golf option on the island. On Grenada there’s the new Silversands Beach House – a new boutique hotel from those who created Silversands.
Elsewhere in the Caribbean, for those who like Soho House, there’s the Soho Beach House on Canouan, and the brand-new Salterra on South Caicos in the Turks & Caicos – one of the hottest new openings in the Caribbean for 2025. The fabulous Peter Island returns after a long refurbishment.
