We are pleased to announce Jackie has won the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Travel Industry’ award at the 2017 Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards in London.
Although we didn’t pick up the overall agency award, Jackie was given the award for her contribution to the industry ranging from her board positions at ABTA and Advantage, previous chair of the Association of Women Travel Executives, and charity, along with owning TravelTime World for the past 23 years.
Talking to Travel Weekly on the night, Jackie said “I am totally overwhelmed to win this and I am really proud to be part of this industry.
“When I came into this industry it was all ‘bricks and clicks’ and everyone talked about the demise of the travel agent. I always thought we would survive; agents just have to keep reinventing themselves. We are very resilient.
